Central London Apartment Transformation
Two apartments transformed into one distinctive London home
Key Space Projects was appointed to combine two existing two-bedroom apartments into a single, individually designed residence in Central London.
The project involved substantial internal reconfiguration and the careful integration of the two properties to create a coherent new home. Alongside the construction works, considerable attention was given to bespoke detailing, finishes and joinery, allowing the client's distinctive interior design to become an integral part of the completed project.
The interiors deliberately move away from conventional neutral finishes. Bold colour, full-gloss paintwork and highly individual decorative treatments are used throughout, complemented by innovative use of mirrors to maximise reflected light and create a greater sense of space.
Bespoke joinery forms an important part of the scheme, including fitted library cabinetry, concealed storage, integrated seating and individually designed bedroom storage. The mirrored wardrobe installation is particularly effective, turning a functional element into a strong architectural feature.
Personal artworks, patterned fabrics, wallpaper and carefully selected fittings bring additional character to the property, creating a home that feels deliberately individual.
